Prepare yourself for an extraordinary 8-day expedition through Kenya, a land teeming with breathtaking landscapes and an abundance of wildlife. Our journey begins in the Maasai Mara, where the vast savannah stretches out before us, teeming with the iconic Big Five – lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. Here, we will witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebra embark on their annual journey in search of greener pastures.
From the golden savannahs, we will venture into the lush forests of the Aberdare Mountains. These misty highlands are home to a diverse array of flora and fauna, including colobus monkeys, giant forest hogs, and a multitude of bird species. We will trek through the dense undergrowth, marveling at the towering waterfalls and cascading streams that define this magical landscape.
Our expedition continues to Samburu, a region known for its rugged terrain and unique wildlife. Here, we will encounter the elusive gerenuk, long-necked gerenuk, the striped Grevy’s zebra, and the reticulated giraffe. Samburu is also home to a variety of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, which we will seek out on thrilling game drives through the acacia-dotted plains.
No journey to Kenya is complete without exploring the bird-life haven of Lake Nakuru. This shallow alkaline lake is home to millions of flamingos, creating a spectacular pink spectacle that can be seen for miles around. We will also visit Lake Naivasha, a tranquil freshwater lake surrounded by papyrus reeds and acacia trees. Here, we will have the opportunity to boat on the lake, encountering hippos, pelicans, and fish eagles.

As the sun sets, we’ll drive through samburu for evening game drives, spotting a few wildlife enroute to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Upon arrival, we’ll head to the Ark, a unique lodge nestled in the heart of the park for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in the serene surroundings, perhaps spotting wildlife from the lodge’s viewing decks.
Late, enjoy dinner at the ark, accompanied by the sounds of the wilderness outside. Get ready for a night of enchantment as you await the possibility of wildlife sightings at the floodlit waterhole.

Following a hearty breakfast at the Ark Lodge, we shall embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru. Renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant birdlife, Lake Nakuru offers a unique opportunity to witness a diverse array of avian species. Upon arrival at approximately midday, we shall enjoy a delectable lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge before commencing our exploration of the park.
The afternoon shall be dedicated to marveling at the vast flocks of flamingos and other bird species that adorn the shores of the lake. Additionally, we shall engage in a quest to spot iconic African wildlife such as rhinos, giraffes, and lions.
As the sun sets, we shall return to our accommodations for dinner and a tranquil overnight stay, immersed in the serene beauty of the lake.

Ensure that your cameras are at the ready, as we may encounter the magnificent "Big Five" and other captivating species, including zebras, wildebeests, and cheetahs. To enhance our experience, we shall pause for a picnic lunch amidst the serene wilderness.
As the sun gradually descends, our game drives shall continue, maximizing our chances of encountering elusive nocturnal creatures such as leopards and hyenas. We’ll bid farewell to Maasai Mara and begin our journey to L.Naivasha, nestled near the iconic Mt.Longonot.Arrive at Crater Lake Camp in time for check-in and lunch,where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
Embark on a scenic boat ride on the tranquil waters offering opportunities to spot diverse bird-life and perhaps even hippos basking along the shores.As you glide across the lake,soak in the serene atmosphere.
Return to camp for a relaxing evening surrounded by the tranquility of nature,later dinner and overnight stay.
